This professional development module describes a step-by-step process that campus teams can use to select a research-based intervention that matches students’ needs. You will be introduced to Selecting a Research-Based Intervention, a free tool that documents the process. You will learn how to (1) use your students’ data to identify their needs, (2) review possible interventions, (3) conduct a review of the research supporting the intervention’s efficacy and narrow the choices, and (4) review the research supporting the intervention’s efficacy. This module provides the information for the campus leadership team to choose an intervention program that will match students’ needs.
Check with your district or charter school to learn whether it honors Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits issued from The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk.
