Secondary RTI: Providing Instruction in Teacher-led Small Groups is a series of three modules intended for teachers, principals, education service center personnel, and anyone interested in learning more about implementing small groups at the secondary level.
The first module in the series, Secondary RTI: Providing Instruction in Teacher-led Small Groups (Part One), introduces teacher-led small groups and discusses how to manage them. You may earn one continuing professional education credit by successfully completing a quiz at the end of the module. Two handouts are used during the first module. Download and print them before viewing the module. While viewing the module, pause as needed to read and complete activities. The handouts also include references.
Two additional modules in this series will focus on analyzing data to differentiate instruction, features of small-group instruction, and a brief wrap-up about how to begin using small groups.
