Sharon Vaughn, H.E. Hartfelder/Southland Corp. Regents Chair, is the Executive Director of The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research has contributed substantially to what we know about effective, tiered interventions that can prevent learning difficulties in students. Recently her research has focused on middle and high school students who are struggling with reading. We had an opportunity to meet with Dr. Vaughn and ask her some questions.
