Description

This video, developed by the Vaughn Gross Center for Reading and Language Arts at the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Texas Adolescent Literacy Academies, demonstrates use of the Frayer Model in an eighth-grade math class to increase students' understanding of math concepts. The video demonstrates teacher-guided practice of the Frayer Model to help students identify characteristics, examples, and nonexamples of shape vocabulary.
