Overview
The purpose of this project is to document the social-emotional learning curriculum at The University of Texas Elementary School (UTES). The social-emotional learning curriculum has been in place at the school for 2 years and is based on the work of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning and Second Step: A Violence Prevention Curriculum. Our project will describe the implementation of the programs and the survey responses of teachers, parents, and students. We will also examine the academic and social skills of students in first through fifth grades.
